Christanna Rowader is an LA Ovation Award Winner for Mother in Ragtime (3-D Theatricals) and has performed regionally in numerous theatrical productions, concerts, and indie films.

Christanna was recently in the musical Bonnie & Clyde (Rubicon Theatre) as Trish/Cumie, directed by J. Scott Lapp.

One of her favorite roles was playing Alice Murphy in Steve Martin and Edie Brickell’s Bright Star at six and seven months pregnant. Other notable roles: Abigail Adams in 1776, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Marian in The Music Man, Grace Farrell in Annie starring Sally Struthers.

Christanna was also in A Little Night Music (Pasadena Playhouse), directed by David Lee. She was standby to Merle Dandridge’s Desiree & Sarah Uriarte Berry’s Charlotte. She performed as Charlotte during the run of the show when Uriarte Berry was unavailable.

Christanna also starred in Santa Monica College’s short film “Alive” as Juliet/Digital Juliet which premiered last year.
